Another Quiet One

Not much to report this week...little can compare with our weekend in the snow. Our long weekend (Monday off due to Queenie's Birthday) consisted of beer, sausages and kebabs and a follow up of Sunday recovering! We managed to drag our sorry arses out of bed to make it to the football on Monday, once again at the 'G' and followed up with a curry. Not very exciting I am afraid. The money is tight and we need to sandwich the fun with a few quiet ones!

Tuesday was fun for Rella though, another paid day at the zoo, in the guise of an induction day. The hair looked bad (hating the transition from short back to long!!!!) but touching the elephant and watching the tigers made up for it.

An exciting moment!

Loving the animal stuff!

Can't ever get bored of these guys!

hello both of you. helene is engaged the wedding will be new years eve in bergen all are invited. not the ususal speeches etc party games and lots of drinking and fun. any bad behaviour is excused because it is new years eve helene will probably read this this and object strongly and if so she can ask her mother what gyda said in italy where i have just returned from. i was upgraded from a vw passat to an alfa romeo car at europcar and for the first time in my life i had to drive a car wihtout a key just a slot and you push the whole car fob into a hole and push start and the thing fires up it had such a long bonnet that i couldnt see over the top a bit like a rolls royce and i had to take this expensive machine to montopoli and down tors very steep mountain drive and all the pot holes and i could see myself stuck with a bill for every gravel mark anyway it all went well until i returned to rome and in the europcar carpark i hit a huge pot hole and heard a serious grinding noise underneath. however i did have 0 damage waver so i hope the credit card is not abused. the trip went well with lots of drinking and merriment grandma was ok and gyda met us there there was the usual set of family dramas which i will not put on the blog for fear of appearing even more than the usual disfunctional family. tors dogs are lovely and the italian sheep dog bulldog cross are beautiful puppies of three months and i am tempted to get them injected and bring them back to england very soon. ther are two of them both male. i am off to norway on 14 july as the white elephant seems as finally it will be on the market for july. lauren and richard will probably move in a couple of weeks time and are looking forward to it. i will keep you posted lots of love elsa
